An added bonus of participating in #blogjune this year has been to reintroduce me to my Feedly account and the reading of blogs.
It must have been at least 12 months since I last went into Feedly. There was several hundred unread posts to catch up on or skim through as I tend to do anyway. But not as much as I thought it would be. I guess this is an indication of the declining popularity of blogs and blogging.
I guess I have moved on to consume my content in different ways.
I now listen to podcasts more than I did a few years ago.
I use Instagram and Facebook more than Twitter.
I am still a fan of Pinterest and add things to boards but I guess I don’t go back and view them as much as I used to.
And now Trello is in the mix. Personally for sewing patterns and professionally for work communication.
I have never been a big YouTube watcher but Miss A certainly makes up for this. During a recent Zoom session with her bestie during ‘lockdown’ I heard her ask “Who is your favourite YouTuber?” This is not a question I had ever thought of before.
What apps and social media do you use more now than in the past?
