Welcome to June

Today is the 1st of June and the first day of a month of blogging (or attempted blogging everyday) for me as I take part in #blogjune.

I would like to begin by acknowledging all of my fellow friends and bloggers (predominantly Librarians from Australia and New Zealand) who will attempt this with me. A list of all participants for those of you who are interested and an OPML file of the feeds has been compiled by Con.  Thanks so much for organising this year Con. I certainly appreciate the work that you have done even before the month has started.

I can’t promise that all of my posts will contain lots of deep and meaningful thoughts like some of my previous blog posts. Some will. But I can’t sustain a month of thinky thought posts even with my good intentions. So I will be mixing them up with lighter and shorter posts. I do have some planned already and I do plan to make June my planning month (more of that in a future post) but I am going to play it by ear. I do intend that by the end of the month you will know more about me as I continue on my quest to know more about myself. You will learn about my collections (and they are not just books), my pet hates and my ‘structured’ informal learning plan for the rest of the year. I hope you enjoy the ride as much as I hope to.

But for now I have a 2 year old party to plan. The party season is almost upon us. We have had 3 invites to 2 year old party’s already. I can’t believe my baby is almost 2.
